1st Spin

Here's Addie & Cole in the double stroller, for the first time together. Addie only tried to poke Cole a few times :) Unlike Addie, Cole liked being outside.

Addie's Christmas Tree

When my brother and I were kids our Grandma bought us a little Christmas tree. We decorated it however we wanted and we allowed to move the ornaments around. My Mom says that my brother and I used to fight over whether Snoppy or the Angel went on top. And we would change it everytime we walked by. So my Mom bought Addie her very own Christmas tree. She has Sesame Street ornaments and everything. She had been really good wiht it and hasn't knocked it down once.. Yet :)

If you can see the LARGE amount of dusting sugar pouring out of the shaker.... She loves to help bake cookies :)

Addie meeting Cole and Day 1 of life

Cole Robert Smith FINALLY arrives!!!

Here are some pictures from the BIG day! After almost 40 hours of on and off again labor, Cole finally arrived at 9:15 on Tuesday the 18th of November. He weighted 8 lbs 12 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. As many of you know he was born at home. We labored in the tub for hours and got out of the tub for the delivery. Cole did great during the labor and no problems with the ever changing positions. He are some pictures:

Baby Update

Well, there really isn't one... I go to the midwife/Nathropath on Monday for my almost 40 week visit. I'm feeling fine and have no complaints. I know this is the last time I will be pregnant, so I'm just enjoying feeling him move. I also know that these last few weeks/days are really the calm before the storm.. So I'm trying to relax and enjoy them.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and the good thoughts. We will keep you posted on when he arrives.

Dora sheets video

Commercialism has set in...

Here is Addie with her Dora sheets. We happened to be at Ross yesterday and saw these sheets, they were only $9.99 for the set. Addie was so excited when I put them on her bed this morning....I guess Dora is better than Barney??

Oh yeah and don't mind her Christmas PJ, those were the only ones that were clean :)

Halloween

Our next door neighbors have this great decoration. And every night since they put it up, we walk over and have to say goodnight to the ghosts. After dinner, Addie says, "ghosts". She finds her shoes and will bring them to Robert or I and off we go for a walk up our street to see the ghosts and kiss them goodnight. We're not sure how to break it to her, that tonight was the last night of her ghosts...

First Trick or Treat: We practiced for the last few days saying Trick or Treat or Boo. She said it at the 3 houses we went to... Here she is at her very first house ever. The boys in front of her, are our next door neighbors, Ashton and Nicholas.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the patch today. Addie had an alright time, it was really hot (in the 90's). But she really like eating the hot dog all by herself :)

Big Sister Class

I had the great idea that we should take Addie to a class about being a big sister. She was really too young for the class, but she loved wearing a balloon under her shirt.

Cheez-Its.... Yummy

I heard her doing something and then couldn't find her. Well her is what she was doing... Eating a whole box of Cheez-its in the corner of the office. I'll have to start checking under her bed for cupcakes.

If looks could ...

I'm not sure what she is thinking, but I have a feeling its not good..

Tutu

So after many attempts of getting Addie to like her Halloween costume, I decided to return it. She hated it and never got it on more than a few minutes. So I decided to make her a tutu that she can wear with a regular tshirt. I also bought her a little pink wand to wave around. I made the tutu today and she already had it on twice with no issue. Here are some pics of it.

PS: Don't mind her hand down my shirt :) You'd think after not nursing for 8 months she would just let them be...

Farm Hand

Poor Robert had to chase her around the barnyard. She wanted to brush all the goats. She's wasn't afraid of them at all. Our little brave farmer girl!

Finally

It has finally cooled off her in AZ. I'm sure if it's a sure thing or not, but we took full advantage this morning. We got uyp early and went to the zoo. Here are some pictures from this morning!
