Baby Visit - 23 week apt.

Everything looked/sounded great. Baby's heart rate was 140-ish which is good. I have gained 16lbs, which is right on track. So we have one more monthly appointment and then we go to every other week appointment. YIKES.... I guess we are really having a baby!!

Messy Eater & 15 month check up

Just cute pictures...

Addison had her 15 month well visit last week. She weighted 24lbs and was 301/2 inches tall. Dr. Martin said everything looked great. Out next check up is at 18 months.

More water pics

Underwater Baby

Here is Addie going underwater between her instructor, Miss Morgan and Dadddy. Addie loves to do this and never looks worried when you pull her out. It's kind of amazing that she know to close her mouth.

Daddy comes to Swimming Class

Daddy came to swimming class today. He and Addie did great. They blew bubbles, kicked and went under water. She loves swimming class, too bad its almost over for the summer :(

A molar has been spotted

After Alex's molar was spotted this week, I thought I might want to risk being bit to see if Addie's had come thru. Sure enough, part of the bottom right, was poking thru. but no other ones, as of yet. The bite mark I received was worth it, as at least now I know what is going on in there.

Baby's size to everyday foods

This is kind of fun. Even after all of the book I have read, sometimes its still hard to visualize how big the baby is in my belly. Here is a cute way, click on the link below...

Boo Bunny to the Rescue

Addie fell today and banged her eye really good on the edge of the book. After the first wave of tears we got out the Boo Bunny which seems to help. But here is what it looked like afterwards..... Poor Baby Boo Bunny aka a super cute ice pack in the shape of a bunny.

Sharing the Chair

Here is Addie and her friend Alex sharing Addie's chair. It rarely happens, that one of them isn't biting the other or pulling hair. Notice how tan Addie is.... She wears sunblock everyday.

Bath Time

Big Kids Table

Addie used to use the tray on her booster seat, but now she is big enough to sit with us at the normal dinner table. Here she is at her 1st breakfast. She does pretty good using her spoon, but it's still messy.

Baby's Bedding

Once we found it was a boy, the mad search began for bedding. Since that is item that determines paint color and such. So here it is, you can click on the picture to make it bigger:

We bought it yesterday at the Devil Store aka Babies R Us, for almost $80 less than listed here. I also bought the cute matching lamp and valances. So we will begin to look at paint and hopefully get that done this month.

June's Apt

We went to the Dr. on the 26th. Everything looked fine with baby and me. The heartrate was 138, which is normal. We go for our BIG ultrasound on Monday, hopefully the baby will cooperate and we can find out the gender!!!!! Boy will Robert's workload really begin then; painting and decorating the nursery.... So I will post on Monday what we are having if we can tell at our apt.

Girl's Trip

Addison and I took our first plane trip without Robert. We went to Colorado to visit my parents and to go to Darcie's wedding. Addison was really good on the plane both ways. It was just a hassle trying to carry everything. Here are some pictures from our trip.

The first one is at my cousin's house. Addison's cousin, Avery has a really cool piano. Addison loved playing it.

Here is Addison and her cousins, Tyler, Christian and Zach and my parents. They were also visiting my parents. Addison loved playing with them.

Froggy Pool

We put up Addison's little pool yesterday after Robert had done the yard work. She thought it was pretty fun to splash around in her little pool. She also like running around the backyard in barefeet.

She also found a ladybug, she liked it climbing on her. But she tried to eat it! So the ladybug had to be set free before it became dinner :)

1st trip to Saghuro Lake and also to Urgent Care!!

What started off as a great day ended a bit badly. Robert, Addison and I went to a nearby lake for an afternoon picnic. Addison waded around and got really wet, she seem to like the idea of running on the "beach" and splashing in the water. As Robert and Addison were getting out of the water Addison tripped and fell, Robert was holding her hand. She ended up twisting around and hurting her arm. She cried/wimped the whole way back to civilization. We called the 24 hour ask a nurse line with our insurance. We ended up at Urgent Care. Addison had indeed twisted her elbow out of wack. The Dr. was able to get it back in line with some minor tweaking. After the minor adjustment, she was back to her old self. So in the end it was good day. Here is some video.

I must say this was the dirtiest lake I have ever been too. Robert had to remind me that it's not a real lake and no water actually runs thru it. So its kind of like a bit puddle of stale water. This was so not the outdoor experience I wanted for Addison.

Baby #2 update - May Apt.

As of today I'm 15 weeks along. We had an OB appointment this afternoon. It was uneventful, which is good. We heard the baby's heart beat, which she said sounded nice and strong. She had trouble finding it, as the baby was moving all around. I didn't mention that I had a few sips of Robert's Coke before we went into the exam room :) Whoops! It was really cute, Addison could see what the Dr. was doing to my belly, so she was trying to get a batter view. So Robert held her on the other side of the Dr. so she could see what was happening. She was very interested in the noises coming from my belly. We go back next month and we will then get the paperwork to have the 2nd trimester ultrasound. This is the one that usually can tell the gender of the baby. So we're excited about that.
