Girl's Trip

Addison and I took our first plane trip without Robert. We went to Colorado to visit my parents and to go to Darcie's wedding. Addison was really good on the plane both ways. It was just a hassle trying to carry everything. Here are some pictures from our trip.

The first one is at my cousin's house. Addison's cousin, Avery has a really cool piano. Addison loved playing it.

Froggy Pool

We put up Addison's little pool yesterday after Robert had done the yard work. She thought it was pretty fun to splash around in her little pool. She also like running around the backyard in barefeet.

She also found a ladybug, she liked it climbing on her. But she tried to eat it! So the ladybug had to be set free before it became dinner :)

1st trip to Saghuro Lake and also to Urgent Care!!

What started off as a great day ended a bit badly. Robert, Addison and I went to a nearby lake for an afternoon picnic. Addison waded around and got really wet, she seem to like the idea of running on the "beach" and splashing in the water. As Robert and Addison were getting out of the water Addison tripped and fell, Robert was holding her hand. She ended up twisting around and hurting her arm. She cried/wimped the whole way back to civilization. We called the 24 hour ask a nurse line with our insurance. We ended up at Urgent Care. Addison had indeed twisted her elbow out of wack. The Dr. was able to get it back in line with some minor tweaking. After the minor adjustment, she was back to her old self. So in the end it was good day. Here is some video.



I must say this was the dirtiest lake I have ever been too. Robert had to remind me that it's not a real lake and no water actually runs thru it. So its kind of like a bit puddle of stale water. This was so not the outdoor experience I wanted for Addison.

Baby #2 update - May Apt.

As of today I'm 15 weeks along. We had an OB appointment this afternoon. It was uneventful, which is good. We heard the baby's heart beat, which she said sounded nice and strong. She had trouble finding it, as the baby was moving all around. I didn't mention that I had a few sips of Robert's Coke before we went into the exam room :) Whoops! It was really cute, Addison could see what the Dr. was doing to my belly, so she was trying to get a batter view. So Robert held her on the other side of the Dr. so she could see what was happening. She was very interested in the noises coming from my belly. We go back next month and we will then get the paperwork to have the 2nd trimester ultrasound. This is the one that usually can tell the gender of the baby. So we're excited about that.

Addie Speaks

Baby #2 at 12 weeks

Here is a picture of the ultrasound, I couldn't figure out the scanner. I'll have to ask Robert :)

We have our motnhly appointment on the 29th of May. I think we will hear the baby's heartbeat. We heard it at both ultrasounds, which was really cool. I'm feeling better, as the all sickness is gone. I'm still wearing most of my "normal" clothes. I did buy a maternity swimsuit as I signed Addison up for Mommy and me swimming lessons. They are 4 times a week, all summer long. Hopefully she will like them :)

We were at Ikea and found this chair. Addison likes to sit in it. It's a bit hard for her to get in and out of right now, but she manages. And I'm sure in a few weeks she will have it all figured out. She is just too cute.

Addison will eat anything!! She loves bananas, pears, apples, and all berries. Here is eating her favorite. I also think she might have been eating some cream cheese as well.

New Friends

Our friends, Dave and Carrie had a baby girl about 2 months ago. Her name is Sydney, and she is a super sweet baby. Here is a picture of the Daddys and the girls.

It's funny because last time we visited them, Addison had a fit when I would hold Sydney. This time she was better. Maybe she knows that her time is getting short being an only child.

With Addison being able to walk, all sorts of things are now in her reach that used to be untouchable. Well, I left the Goldfish alittle too close to the edge of the kitchen table and she got them.... She would have eaten all of them if I would have let her.

Addie's BIG News

As you might be able to guess from Addie's sign, She will be a big sister sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas!! We found out on Easter morning.... What did the Easter bunny bring you??? I got a positive pregnancy test :) We are super excited but also super sick. I have been VERY puking feeling since the day we found out and hope that the first trimester will be over sooner than later.

1st Easter

This is the last holiday that was Addison's first. It was really fun. We went to the Lindstrom's for Easter lunch. We also had an Easter egg hunt, which for 1 year old babies, means that just putting them in the grass and letting them crawl for them. Here are some pictures of our AWESOME day.

Bunny Cake version 2.0

Some of you may know that my Mom makes me a bunny cake each year. It is a one dimensional cake, made out of 2 - 9" rounds. Well, I saw this pan at William Sonoma and had to have it!!!! THIS IS THE NEW BUNNY CAKE!!! Its is 3 dimensional.. Not to out do my Mom, its more like taking it to the next level...

I had a networking party to go to for Back to Basics Tutoring on Friday. Robert was out of town, so I thought I was going to have to miss it. BUT NO.. My awesome cousins that just moved her totally rescued me. Krissi and her daughter Lyndsey came over and watched Addison. Her are a couple of pictures from there fun night together.
