Trip to CA

Addie got sick with her first cold on Thanksgiving day. She was a real trooper and stayed in good spirits. She is almost over, thank goodness.


Addie is now offically a girl, she had her first Black Friday shopping extravaganza with Mom and Grandma Jankovich

Sippy Cup

Addie is learning to drink from a sippy cup. She is eating solid food for breakfast and dinner, but still breastfeeding several times a day. She started crawling last week, so now we are in big trouble.

Chick or Treat

Pumpkins Anyone

Halloween and Fall is a bit different in Arizona... Yes, the weather turns cool, we are finally in the 70-80 after a hellish summer. The leaves really don't turn but we were excited to get out and enjoy the weather. So our good friends the Lindstrom's and us went to the pumpkin patch for some photos of Addie and us.

Addison has been doing really good eating food. She however wasn't a big fan of applesauce. Our friends Ben and Jenn were over and Ben wanted to feed her. It was his first time feeding a baby, looks like he might need some more practice....

Baptism

Addie was Baptized in the Catholic Church on Saturday, October 13th, which was also her 6th month birthday. My parents are Addison's Godparents. There were many special people who came to the ceremony, including her paternal grandfather, Ron Smith.

Halloween Preview

Yep, this should do the trick to get lots of candy....

Rice Cereal anyone....

Addie has started solids, if you can call them that. We started with rice cereal. She has also added peas into her repertoire. I think avocado will be next since they are still in season.

Getting around

Here are a few pictures of Addie. She is scooting around and rolling all over the place. I put her on ablanket on the floor and when I went back in her room she had moved about 5 feet over the blanket...

Go Cubbies

My favorite cousins Mike and Jen got her a few Cubs outfits as a baby gift. She finally can wear them... She is soo cute:)

Yummy Toes

Addison has been doing this for a few days. She is soo funny.


She is working really hard to sit up. She can for a few minutes and then will topple over. She has her 6 month apt on October 19. Also her Catholic Baptism will be October 13th, which just happens to be her 6 month birthday.

On our way to the condo in Snowmass, we came upon a bear eating apples. It was probably less than a 1/4 mile from the condo.

1st Swing

Addie's first time on a swing. We were on our way to Aspen and stopped at a park. As you can tell we wrapped her up in my fleece so she would fit a bit better.

That Grandma... Sure does spoil Addie

Here is Grandma, feeding Addie ICE CREAM!!! I tried to remain calm and realize that Grandmas do these kind of things. So I guess I can write in Addie's baby book that the first solid food she liked was ice cream!! I'm sure that will go over well with her docotr.

Colorado or Bust

Well, Robert, Addie and I went to Colorado to visit Grandma and Pop-Pop Jankovich. It was to be a surprise for Mom, but we blew it a day before we left. So here are some pictures from her first trip to Colorado. Yes, that is a real BEAR. It was about 20 feet away from the car. Robert spotted it, as we were pulling up to the condo in Snowmass.

Bored and nothing to do but try some peaches

"Aunt" Jenn and I were bored one night, so we thought we would have Alex and Addison try some solid food. Just a little taste to see if they would like it.....

As you can see neither of them were fans. I guess we will try something a bit more bland like ceral in a few months.

4 Months Old

Sorry for the delay in getting these posted. It's been a crazy few weeks. Addison had her 4 month check up on August 10th. Here are her Stats:

Length: 25 inches
Weight: 15 lbs 11 oz

She is going really great. Dr. Martin said she is very healthy and she is beginning the teething process. Her gums are getting wider which indicates the teeth are moving up thru the gums. I can't feel anything yet..but I check all of the time. Here she is sitting in her Exersauer, she looks like she is laid back and hanging out.

Addie's new toy

Here is the Addie's new toy. She is 16 weeks old today and the box said it was good from 4 months and up. Its a bit big for her, but she can reach all the toys and she played in it for a long time beforeI took her out of it.

I can't believe...

Miss Addison likes to roll over in her crib and cause her Mommy a heart attack. She now perfers to sleep on her belly and can push herself up to look around. She has even gotten up on all fours a few times.... UGH
